Abstract:Taoshan is the typical granite-type uranium ore field in China,and Dabu uranium deposit is the largest deposit in Taoshan ore field. This paper analyzes the source of ore-forming materials,determines the metallotectonics and ore-forming geological body,and summarizes the hydrothermal characteristics of ore-forming. Based on the theory of “Trinity Model for Ore-prospecting mineralization indicators”,a metallogenic model is put forward,which includes the uranium source,magmatic activity,ore-forming environment,tectonic movement and groundwater. The Dabu uranium deposit has three-stage metallogenic model. In the stage of uranium ̄rich pluton formation,metamorphic rocks with high enrichment of uranium provided material sources. Daguzhai pluton became the uranium richest granite during the multistage magmatic activity. In the stage of uranium pre-enrichment,the Luobili pluton promoted the wide alkaline metasomatism and muscovitization in Daguzhai pluton,and activated the uraninite in the pluton. During the uranium metallogenic stage,a large number of hydrothermal fluids were produced by intermediate-basic dikes in the Late Yanshanian.The hydrothermal fluids leached the uranium from the uranium-rich rock. The uranium enriched along the fault as different types ore in oxidation of pyrite to hematite.
