Research on bilinear interpolation based resampling method of ultrasonic imaging logging data

Abstract:In order to solve the problem that the resolution of logging image can not meet the actual needs due to the logging speed fluctuation(in vertical direction)and the limit of the transverse scanning resolution of ultrasonic transducer during the course of logging,the bilinear interpolation algorithm was proposed to resample the ultrasonic imaging logging data,and the processing procedure was studied in detail. By applying the algorithm to both model pit data and field data,the results verified that this method can effectively improve the resolution and the imaging quality of ultrasonic imaging logging,and can provide technical support for in-situ identification of fractures and fracture zones in the borehole of uranium,oil and coal exploration.
